महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-137, verse-11

ततः स रथमास्थाय ज्वलनार्कसमद्युतिः ।
अब्रवीद्वीर्यसंमोहात्को न्वस्ति सदृशो मया ।
वीर्यधैर्ययशःशौचैर्विक्रमेणौजसापि वा ॥११॥
11. tataḥ sa rathamāsthāya jvalanārkasamadyutiḥ ,
abravīdvīryasaṁmohātko nvasti sadṛśo mayā ,
vīryadhairyayaśaḥśaucairvikrameṇaujasāpi vā.
11. tataḥ saḥ ratham āsthāya jvalanārkasamadyutiḥ
abravīt vīryasaṃmohāt kaḥ
nu asti sadṛśaḥ mayā vīryadhairyayaśaḥśaucaiḥ

11. Then he, having mounted a chariot and possessing a splendor like fire and the sun, said, from infatuation with his prowess (vīrya), 'Who indeed is similar to me, in valor, fortitude, fame, purity, courage, or even strength?'
