महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-90, verse-4

स चेन्नोपनिवर्तेत वाच्यो ब्राह्मणसंसदि ।
कस्मिन्निदानीं मर्यादामयं लोकः करिष्यति ॥४॥

4. "If he (the Brahmin) does not desist, he should be reprimanded in an assembly of Brahmins. Otherwise, in whom will this world then place its limits (maryādā)?"
