महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-90, verse-11

सदैव राज्ञा बोद्धव्यं सर्वलोकाद्युधिष्ठिर ।
तस्माद्धेतोर्हि भुञ्जीत मनुष्यानेव मानवः ॥११॥

11. sadaiva rājñā boddhavyaṁ sarvalokādyudhiṣṭhira ,
tasmāddhetorhi bhuñjīta manuṣyāneva mānavaḥ.

11. yudhiṣṭhira sadā eva rājñā sarvalokāt boddhavyaṃ (asti).
tasmāt hetoḥ hi mānavaḥ manuṣyān eva bhuñjīta.

11. O Yudhiṣṭhira, the king should always understand this from all the world. For that very reason, a human should indeed rule over other humans.
