O King, O son of Pāṇḍu, all people who desire natural law (dharma) rely on the Śūdra, the Vaiśya, and the prince. Therefore, considering these social classes (varṇas) engaged in their intrinsic duties (dharma) based on their birth, Vishnu does not wish for their destruction.
