महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-310, verse-27

उवाच चैनं भगवांस्त्र्यम्बकः प्रहसन्निव ।
एवंविधस्ते तनयो द्वैपायन भविष्यति ॥२७॥
27. uvāca cainaṁ bhagavāṁstryambakaḥ prahasanniva ,
evaṁvidhaste tanayo dvaipāyana bhaviṣyati.

27. The divine Tryambaka (Shiva), as if smiling, spoke to him: 'O Dvaipayana (Vyasa), your son will be of such a nature.'
