महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-310, verse-16

अतिष्ठन्मारुताहारः शतं किल समाः प्रभुः ।
आराधयन्महादेवं बहुरूपमुमापतिम् ॥१६॥
16. atiṣṭhanmārutāhāraḥ śataṁ kila samāḥ prabhuḥ ,
ārādhayanmahādevaṁ bahurūpamumāpatim.

16. Indeed, the powerful one stood for a hundred years, subsisting on air, worshiping the great god (Mahādeva), who is multiform and the lord of Umā.
