महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-249, verse-21

एवमुक्ता तु सा देवी मृत्युः कमलमालिनी ।
प्रदध्यौ दुःखिता बाला साश्रुपातमतीव हि ॥२१॥
21. evamuktā tu sā devī mṛtyuḥ kamalamālinī ,
pradadhyau duḥkhitā bālā sāśrupātamatīva hi.

21. Thus addressed, that goddess Death (mṛtyu), adorned with a lotus garland, a young maiden who was very distressed and shedding many tears, meditated deeply (dhyāna).
