तानेव च यथा दस्यून्क्षिप्त्वा गच्छेच्छिवां दिशम् ।

14. Just as one would cast away bandits and proceed towards a safe direction, similarly, by abandoning actions (karma) arising from passion (rajas) and inertia (tamas), one attains happiness.
