The one who truly observes (paśyan) the observable (dṛśyam) is truly sighted (cakṣuṣmān) and intelligent (buddhimān). Intellect (buddhi) is said to be the understanding (vijñāna) and complete comprehension (sambodha) of what was previously unknown.
