भगवानपि तं दृष्ट्वा कुशलं प्रतिवेद्य च ।

16. Then the venerable one (Vyāsa), having seen him (Janamejaya) and, in return, reported on his own well-being, and having been honored by all the members of the assembly, in turn honored those assembly members.
