महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-54, verse-13

पाद्यमाचमनीयं च अर्घ्यं गां च विधानतः ।
पितामहाय कृष्णाय तदर्हाय न्यवेदयत् ॥१३॥
13. pādyamācamanīyaṁ ca arghyaṁ gāṁ ca vidhānataḥ ,
pitāmahāya kṛṣṇāya tadarhāya nyavedayat.
13. pādyam ācamanīyam ca arghyam gām ca vidhānataḥ
pitāmahāya kṛṣṇāya tad-arhāya nyavedayat
13. He respectfully presented water for the feet, water for sipping, a special offering (arghya), and a cow, all according to the proper rites, to his grandfather Krishna (Vyasa), who was indeed deserving of such honor.
