वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तेषां श्रुत्वा महाबाहुर्वार्यमाणस्तपोधनैः ।
जगाम तानि तीर्थानि द्रष्टुं पुरुषसत्तमः ॥७॥

Vaiśampāyana said: Having heard their words, that best of men (puruṣasattamaḥ), the mighty-armed (mahābāhuḥ) (Arjuna), went to see those sacred places (tīrthas), even though he was being dissuaded by the ascetics (tapodhanas).
