महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-207, verse-21

पुत्रो ममेयमिति मे भावना पुरुषोत्तम ।
पुत्रिका हेतुविधिना संज्ञिता भरतर्षभ ॥२१॥
21. putro mameyamiti me bhāvanā puruṣottama ,
putrikā hetuvidhinā saṁjñitā bharatarṣabha.
21. putraḥ mama iyam iti me bhāvanā puruṣottama
putrikā hetuvidhinā saṃjñitā bharatarṣabha
21. O best of men (puruṣottama), my sentiment (bhāvanā) is that 'This one is my son.' She has been designated as a `putrikā` (an appointed daughter) by legal decree, O best among the Bhāratas.
