महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-167, verse-6

उत्ततार ततः पाशैर्विमुक्तः स महानृषिः ।
विपाशेति च नामास्या नद्याश्चक्रे महानृषिः ॥६॥
6. uttatāra tataḥ pāśairvimuktaḥ sa mahānṛṣiḥ ,
vipāśeti ca nāmāsyā nadyāścakre mahānṛṣiḥ.
6. uttatāra tataḥ pāśaiḥ vimuktaḥ saḥ mahānṛṣiḥ
vipāśā iti ca nāma asyāḥ nadyāḥ cakre mahānṛṣiḥ
6. Then, that great sage, freed from his bonds, emerged from the water. And the great sage named this river Vipāśā.
