महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-167, verse-13

वसिष्ठ उवाच ।
पुत्रि कस्यैष साङ्गस्य वेदस्याध्ययनस्वनः ।
पुरा साङ्गस्य वेदस्य शक्तेरिव मया श्रुतः ॥१३॥
13. vasiṣṭha uvāca ,
putri kasyaiṣa sāṅgasya vedasyādhyayanasvanaḥ ,
purā sāṅgasya vedasya śakteriva mayā śrutaḥ.
13. vasiṣṭhaḥ uvāca | putrī kasya eṣaḥ sāṅgasya vedasya
adhyayana-svanaḥ | purā sāṅgasya vedasya śakteḥ iva mayā śrutaḥ
13. Vasiṣṭha said: "Daughter, whose is this sound of the study of the Veda along with its auxiliary branches? Previously, such a sound of the Veda, complete with its auxiliary branches, was heard by me, like that of Śakti (my son)."
