वसिष्ठ उवाच ।
पुत्रि कस्यैष साङ्गस्य वेदस्याध्ययनस्वनः ।

Vasiṣṭha said: "Daughter, whose is this sound of the study of the Veda along with its auxiliary branches? Previously, such a sound of the Veda, complete with its auxiliary branches, was heard by me, like that of Śakti (my son)."
