महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-127, verse-8

एवमुक्तस्ततः कर्णः किंचित्प्रस्फुरिताधरः ।
गगनस्थं विनिःश्वस्य दिवाकरमुदैक्षत ॥८॥
8. evamuktastataḥ karṇaḥ kiṁcitprasphuritādharaḥ ,
gaganasthaṁ viniḥśvasya divākaramudaikṣata.

| gaganastham viniḥśvasya divākaram udaikṣata
8. Upon being spoken to in this manner, Karna's lips trembled slightly. He then sighed deeply and gazed up at the sun (divākara) in the sky.
