āvṛtaṁ dadṛśurlokaṁ hṛṣṭā bahuvidhairjanaiḥ.

23.
All of them, with Bhīṣma at the forefront, went out to meet him upon his arrival. Having traveled not far, those inhabitants of Nāgapura joyfully saw the area surrounded by people of many kinds.
