ज्योत्स्नायाश्चेत्यमेवं हि दृश्यमङ्गं चितेः क्रिया ।
शिवं शान्तमनायासमव्ययं विद्धि निर्मलम् ॥ २४ ॥

And indeed, just as [brightness is a part] of moonlight (jyotsnā), so too is the visible world (dṛśya) a part (aṅga) of the activity (kriyā) of consciousness (cit). Know (viddhi) Śiva (śivam) to be peaceful (śānta), effortless (anāyāsa), imperishable (avyaya), and pure (nirmala).
