योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-68, verse-20

अनेकसंविद्रूपात्म शिवेनैवेदमाततम् ।
इत्यास्थितमनन्तं यत्सौषुप्तं मौनमुच्यते ॥ २० ॥
anekasaṃvidrūpātma śivenaivedamātatam ,
ityāsthitamanantaṃ yatsauṣuptaṃ maunamucyate 20
20. anekasaṃvidrūpātman śivena eva idam ātatam iti
āsthitam anantam yat sauṣuptam maunam ucyate
20. idam anekasaṃvidrūpātman śivena eva ātatam.
yat anantam iti āsthitam,
tat sauṣuptam maunam ucyate.
20. This (universe) is pervaded by the auspicious (śiva) one alone, whose essence (ātman) is the form of manifold consciousnesses. That which is thus established, infinite, and resembles the state of deep sleep, is declared to be profound silence (maunam).
