सुषुप्तमौनवान्भूत्वा त्यक्त्वा चित्तविलासिताम् ।
कलनामलनिर्मुक्तस्तिष्ठावष्टब्धतत्पदः ॥ १ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: "Having become endowed with the silence of deep sleep, and having abandoned the mind's (citta) playful distractions, remain free from the impurity of mental constructs (kalpanā), firmly established in that supreme state."
