योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-14, verse-21

ताराः स्प्रष्टुमिवाकाशमङ्गुलीभिरिव त्रिभिः ।
कचदंशुनखाग्राभिः परिचुम्बदिवोन्नतम् ॥ २१ ॥
tārāḥ spraṣṭumivākāśamaṅgulībhiriva tribhiḥ ,
kacadaṃśunakhāgrābhiḥ paricumbadivonnatam 21
21. tārāḥ spraṣṭum iva ākāśam aṅgulībhiḥ iva tribhiḥ
kacad-aṃśu-nakhāgrābhiḥ paricumbat iva unnatam
21. ākāśam tārāḥ tribhiḥ aṅgulībhiḥ iva spraṣṭum
unnatam kacad-aṃśu-nakhāgrābhiḥ iva paricumbat
21. As if to touch the stars in the sky with three fingers, and as if kissing its elevated (peaks) with its shining rays, which are like fingernail tips.
