योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-17, verse-5

बाह्यार्थव्यसनोच्छूना तृष्णा बद्धेति राघव ।
सर्वार्थव्यसनोन्मुक्ता तृष्णा मुक्तेति कथ्यते ॥ ५ ॥
bāhyārthavyasanocchūnā tṛṣṇā baddheti rāghava ,
sarvārthavyasanonmuktā tṛṣṇā mukteti kathyate 5
5. bāhyārthavyasanocchūnā tṛṣṇā baddhā iti rāghava
sarvārthavyasanonmuktā tṛṣṇā muktā iti kathyate
5. rāghava bāhyārthavyasanocchūnā tṛṣṇā baddhā iti
sarvārthavyasanonmuktā tṛṣṇā muktā iti kathyate
5. O Rāghava, craving (tṛṣṇā) that is swollen by attachment to external objects is called "bound." The craving that is free from attachment to all objects is declared "liberated (mokṣa)."
