योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-16, verse-2

यद्यहंकारसंत्यागं करोमि तदिदं प्रभो ।
त्यजामि देहनामानं संनिवेशमशेषतः ॥ २ ॥
yadyahaṃkārasaṃtyāgaṃ karomi tadidaṃ prabho ,
tyajāmi dehanāmānaṃ saṃniveśamaśeṣataḥ 2
2. yadi ahaṅkāra-saṃtyāgam karomi tat idam prabho
tyajāmi deha-nāmānam saṃniveśam aśeṣataḥ
2. prabho yadi aham ahaṅkāra-saṃtyāgam karomi tat

2. "O Lord, if I completely abandon the ego (ahaṅkāra), then I entirely relinquish this abode, the body (deha), in its entirety."
