योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-47, verse-6

न स्वभावोऽन्यतां धत्ते वह्नेरौष्ण्यमिवैष मे ।
अनेन मुक्त एव स्यामहमित्यस्मि भाविता ॥ ६ ॥
na svabhāvo'nyatāṃ dhatte vahnerauṣṇyamivaiṣa me ,
anena mukta eva syāmahamityasmi bhāvitā 6
6. na svabhāvaḥ anyatām dhatte vahneḥ auṣṇyam iva
eṣa me anena muktaḥ eva syām aham iti asmi bhāvitā
6. eṣa me svabhāvaḥ vahneḥ auṣṇyam iva anyatām na
dhatte aham anena eva muktaḥ syām iti asmi bhāvitā
6. My intrinsic nature (svabhāva) does not assume otherness, just as the heat (auṣṇyam) of fire (vahneḥ) does not. I (aham) am convinced (bhāvitā asmi) by the thought: 'I (aham) shall indeed (eva) be liberated (mokṣa) by this one (anena).'
