योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-19, verse-29

उड्डीतुमभिवाञ्छन्ति पक्षाभ्यां क्षुत्परायणाः ।
भयाहारपरा नित्यं बाला विहगधर्मिणः ॥ २९ ॥
uḍḍītumabhivāñchanti pakṣābhyāṃ kṣutparāyaṇāḥ ,

29. Like birds, children are always preoccupied with fear and food, and are driven by hunger, wishing to fly with wings (pakṣābhyām), having the nature of birds (vihagadharmiṇaḥ).
