योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-19, verse-1

श्रीराम उवाच ।
लब्ध्वापि तरलाकारे कार्यभारतरंगिणि ।
संसारसागरे जन्म बाल्यं दुःखाय केवलम् ॥ १ ॥

labdhvāpi taralākāre kāryabhārataraṃgiṇi ,
saṃsārasāgare janma bālyaṃ duḥkhāya kevalam 1

1. Śrī Rāma said: Even after obtaining birth in this ocean of transmigration (saṃsāra), which has a fluctuating nature and is characterized by waves of the burdens of actions, childhood is merely a source of misery.
