वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-81, verse-8

तेषां संवदतामेव तमाश्रममुपागमत् ।
कर्दमः सुमहातेजा द्विजैः सह महात्मभिः ॥८॥
8. teṣāṃ saṃvadatāmeva tamāśramamupāgamat ,
kardamaḥ sumahātejā dvijaiḥ saha mahātmabhiḥ.

kardamaḥ sumahātejāḥ dvijaiḥ saha mahātmabhiḥ
8. teṣām saṃvadatām eva,
sumahātejāḥ kardamaḥ mahātmabhiḥ dvijaiḥ saha tam āśramam upāgamat.
8. Even as they were conversing, Kardama, of great splendor, arrived at that hermitage (āśrama) accompanied by great-souled twice-born ones (dvija).
