वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-81, verse-7

अयं राजा महाबाहुः कर्दमस्य इलः सुतः ।
जानीतैनं यथा भूतं श्रेयो ह्यस्य विधीयताम् ॥७॥
7. ayaṃ rājā mahābāhuḥ kardamasya ilaḥ sutaḥ ,
jānītainaṃ yathā bhūtaṃ śreyo hyasya vidhīyatām.
