वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-81, verse-20

निवृत्ते हयमेधे तु गते चादर्शनं हरे ।
यथागतं द्विजाः सर्वे अगच्छन्दीर्घदर्शिनः ॥२०॥
20. nivṛtte hayamedhe tu gate cādarśanaṃ hare ,
yathāgataṃ dvijāḥ sarve agacchandīrghadarśinaḥ.

20. When the horse (hayamedha) Vedic ritual was concluded, and Hari (Vishnu) had also disappeared from sight, all the far-sighted Brahmins (dvijāḥ) departed the way they had come.
