वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-76, verse-19

हतश्चायं त्वया वृत्रो ब्रह्महत्या च वासवम् ।
बाधते सुरशार्दूल मोक्षं तस्य विनिर्दिश ॥१९॥
19. hataścāyaṃ tvayā vṛtro brahmahatyā ca vāsavam ,
bādhate suraśārdūla mokṣaṃ tasya vinirdiśa.

bādhate suraśārdūla mokṣam tasya vinirdiśa
19. suraśārdūla ayam vṛtraḥ ca tvayā hataḥ brahmahatyā

19. And this Vṛtra was killed by you, O chief among the gods. However, the sin of brahminicide (brahmahatyā) afflicts Indra (Vāsava). Please prescribe a means of liberation (mokṣa) for him.
