वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-53, verse-1

ब्रुवद्भिरेवमृषिभिः काकुत्स्थो वाक्यमब्रवीत् ।
किं कार्यं ब्रूत भवतां भयं नाशयितास्मि वः ॥१॥
1. bruvadbhirevamṛṣibhiḥ kākutstho vākyamabravīt ,
kiṃ kāryaṃ brūta bhavatāṃ bhayaṃ nāśayitāsmi vaḥ.
1. bruvadbhiḥ evam ṛṣibhiḥ kākutsthaḥ vākyam abravīt
kim kāryam brūta bhavatām bhayam nāśayitā asmi vaḥ

1. As the sages spoke thus, Kakutstha (Rama) said: 'What is the task? Tell me, and I shall destroy your fear!'
