वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-65, verse-11

अद्य रामं वधिष्यामि लक्ष्मणं च निशाचराः ।
शाखामृगं च सुग्रीवं वानरांश्च शरोत्तमैः ॥११॥
11. adya rāmaṃ vadhiṣyāmi lakṣmaṇaṃ ca niśācarāḥ ,
śākhāmṛgaṃ ca sugrīvaṃ vānarāṃśca śarottamaiḥ.
11. adya rāmam vadhiṣyāmi lakṣmaṇam ca niśācarāḥ
śākhāmṛgam ca sugrīvam vānarān ca śara-uttamaiḥ
11. adya niśācarāḥ aham rāmam lakṣmaṇam ca śākhāmṛgam

11. Today, O night-roamers (niśācara), I will kill Rama, Lakshmana, and Sugriva, the monkey (śākhāmṛga), along with the other monkeys, with my finest arrows.
