वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-100, verse-4

राघवस्तु रथं दिव्यमिन्द्रदत्तं शिखिप्रभम् ।
अनुज्ञाय महाभागो मातलिं प्रत्यपूजयत् ॥४॥
4. rāghavastu rathaṃ divyamindradattaṃ śikhiprabham ,
anujñāya mahābhāgo mātaliṃ pratyapūjayat.

anujñāya mahābhāgaḥ mātaliṃ pratyapūjayat

4. But the greatly revered Rāghava, having dismissed Mātali, then honored him in return for the divine chariot, which was given by Indra and shone like fire.
