धिगस्तु राजसं भावमनीशमनवस्थितम् ।
ईश्वरेणापि यद् रागान्मया सीता न रक्षिता ॥१२॥

12. Shame upon this passionate (rājasic) disposition, which is uncontrollable and unsteady! It is because of this that Sītā was not protected by me, even by a controller (īśvara) like myself, due to my own intense emotion.
