वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-9, verse-12

राक्षसैर्धर्षितानां च तापसानां तपस्विनाम् ।
गतिं मृगयमाणानां भवान्नः परमा गतिः ॥१२॥
12. rākṣasairdharṣitānāṃ ca tāpasānāṃ tapasvinām ,
gatiṃ mṛgayamāṇānāṃ bhavānnaḥ paramā gatiḥ.
12. rākṣasaiḥ dharṣitānāṃ ca tāpasānāṃ tapasvinām
gatim mṛgayamāṇānāṃ bhavān naḥ paramā gatiḥ
12. rākṣasaiḥ dharṣitānāṃ ca tāpasānāṃ tapasvinām
gatim mṛgayamāṇānāṃ naḥ bhavān paramā gatiḥ
12. And for those ascetics who practice austerities (tapas), harassed by the demons (rākṣasas) and seeking refuge, you are our ultimate haven.
