arditāḥ sma bhṛśaṃ rāma bhavānnastrātumarhati.

Then, all of them, having gathered together, uttered these words: 'O Rāma, we are severely tormented by numerous Rākṣasas in the Daṇḍaka forest, who can assume any form at will. You ought to protect us.'
