वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-53, verse-23

दर्शने मा कृथा बुद्धिं राघवस्य वरानने ।
कास्य शक्तिरिहागन्तुमपि सीते मनोरथैः ॥२३॥
23. darśane mā kṛthā buddhiṃ rāghavasya varānane ,
kāsya śaktirihāgantumapi sīte manorathaiḥ.

kā asya śaktiḥ iha āgantum api sīte manorathaiḥ
23. varānanī! rāghavasya darśane buddhim mā kṛthāḥ.
sīte! asya iha manorathaiḥ api āgantum kā śaktiḥ?
23. O beautiful-faced one (varānanī), do not even think of seeing Rama (Rāghava). O Sita, what power (śakti) does he have to come here, even by mere wishes?
