ततस्तु तद्भीमबलं महाहवे समीक्ष्य रामेण हतं बलीयसा ।
रथेन रामं महता खरस्ततः समाससादेन्द्र इवोद्यताशनिः ॥२४॥
24. tatastu tadbhīmabalaṃ mahāhave samīkṣya rāmeṇa hataṃ balīyasā ,
rathena rāmaṃ mahatā kharastataḥ samāsasādendra ivodyatāśaniḥ.
24. tataḥ tu tat bhīmabalam mahāhave
samīkṣya rāmeṇa hatam balīyasā
rathena rāmam mahatā kharaḥ tataḥ
samāsasāda indraḥ iva udyatāśaniḥ

24. Then, when Khara observed that formidable army, which had been slain by the mightier Rama in the great battle, he then, like Indra with his uplifted thunderbolt, approached Rama in his magnificent chariot.
