वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-25, verse-18

रक्षसां तु शतं रामः शतेनैकेन कर्णिना ।
सहस्रं च सहस्रेण जघान रणमूर्धनि ॥१८॥
18. rakṣasāṃ tu śataṃ rāmaḥ śatenaikena karṇinā ,
sahasraṃ ca sahasreṇa jaghāna raṇamūrdhani.
