12. tato'bravīnmuni śreṣṭhaḥ śrutvā rāmasya bhāṣitam ,

12.
Then, having heard Rama's speech, the best of sages, whose soul was dedicated to righteousness (dharma), meditated for a moment and, being steadfast, spoke even more steadfast words.
