वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-18, verse-7

न च मे क्रोधमुत्स्रष्टुं बुद्धिर्भवति पार्थिव ।
तथाभूता हि सा चर्या न शापस्तत्र मुच्यते ॥७॥
7. na ca me krodhamutsraṣṭuṃ buddhirbhavati pārthiva ,
tathābhūtā hi sā caryā na śāpastatra mucyate.
7. na ca me krodham utsraṣṭum buddhiḥ bhavati pārthiva
tathābhūtā hi sā caryā na śāpaḥ tatra mucyate
7. ca pārthiva na me krodham utsraṣṭum buddhiḥ bhavati
hi sā caryā tathābhūtā tatra śāpaḥ na mucyate
7. And, O king, I do not have the inclination to unleash my anger, for such was the nature of that observance that a curse cannot be uttered in that situation.
