वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-18, verse-14

अहं वेद्मि महात्मानं रामं सत्यपराक्रमम् ।
वसिष्ठो ऽपि महातेजा ये चेमे तपसि स्थिताः ॥१४॥
14. ahaṃ vedmi mahātmānaṃ rāmaṃ satyaparākramam ,
vasiṣṭho'pi mahātejā ye ceme tapasi sthitāḥ.

14. I know the great-souled (mahātman) Rama, whose valor is unfailing. And Vasiṣṭha, who possesses great spiritual energy, as well as these others who are steadfast in their ascetic practice (tapas), also know him.
