वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-18, verse-13

न च पुत्रकृतं स्नेहं कर्तुमर्हसि पार्थिव ।
अहं ते प्रतिजानामि हतौ तौ विद्धि राक्षसौ ॥१३॥
13. na ca putrakṛtaṃ snehaṃ kartumarhasi pārthiva ,
ahaṃ te pratijānāmi hatau tau viddhi rākṣasau.
13. na ca putrakṛtam sneham kartum arhasi pārthiva
aham te pratijānāmi hatau tau viddhi rākṣasau
13. ca pārthiva tvam putrakṛtam sneham kartum na arhasi
aham te pratijānāmi tau rākṣasau hatau viddhi
13. And, O king, you should not give way to paternal affection (sneha). I assure you, consider those two Rākṣasas as already slain.
