अथ राजा दशरथस्तेषां दारक्रियां प्रति ।
चिन्तयामास धर्मात्मा सोपाध्यायः सबान्धवः ॥२२॥
22. atha rājā daśarathasteṣāṃ dārakriyāṃ prati ,
cintayāmāsa dharmātmā sopādhyāyaḥ sabāndhavaḥ.

22. Then King Dasharatha, whose intrinsic nature (dharma) was righteousness, accompanied by his preceptors and relatives, began to deliberate concerning their marriages.
