तदहं यष्टुमिच्छामि शास्त्रदृष्टेन कर्मणा ।
ऋषिपुत्रप्रभावेन कामान्प्राप्स्यामि चाप्यहम् ॥९॥

9. tadahaṃ yaṣṭumicchāmi śāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā ,
ṛṣiputraprabhāvena kāmānprāpsyāmi cāpyaham.

9. Therefore, I desire to perform a ritual (karma) as prescribed by the scriptures. And by the power of the sage's son, I shall also obtain my desires.
