वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-11, verse-7

तान्पूजयित्वा धर्मात्मा राजा दशरथस्तदा ।
इदं धर्मार्थसहितं श्लक्ष्णं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥७॥
7. tānpūjayitvā dharmātmā rājā daśarathastadā ,
idaṃ dharmārthasahitaṃ ślakṣṇaṃ vacanamabravīt.

7. Then, King Daśaratha, whose soul was devoted to righteousness (dharma), honored them and spoke these gentle words, which were beneficial for both his intrinsic nature (dharma) and his purpose (artha).
