बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-48, verse-8

दशारम्भे शुभस्थाने स्थितस्यापि शुभं फलम् ।
अशुभस्थानगस्यैवं शुभस्यापि न शोभनम् ॥८॥
8. daśārambhe śubhasthāne sthitasyāpi śubhaṃ phalam .
aśubhasthānagasyaivaṃ śubhasyāpi na śobhanam.
8. daśārambhe śubhasthāne sthitasya api śubham phalam
aśubhasthānagasya evam śubhasya api na śobhanam
8. At the beginning of a planetary period (dasha), if the dasha lord is situated in an auspicious house, it yields favorable results. Conversely, even an auspicious planet, if located in an inauspicious house at the beginning of its dasha, will not produce good results.
