स्थानस्थितिवशेनैवं फलं प्रोक्तं पुरातनैः ।
मिथो भावेशसम्बन्धात्फलानि कथयाम्यहम् ॥१॥

The results based on the strength of a planet's position (sthāna) have thus been declared by the ancients. Now, I (aham) shall describe the results based on the mutual relationships between the lords of houses (bhāvas).
