Even the daśā of auspicious planets (benefics) yields inauspicious results (pāpa phala) (if they are afflicted as described). Furthermore, the daśā of planets situated in the death-inflicting houses (māraka sthāna) or associated with the death-inflicting lord (mārakeśa) also yields inauspicious results.
