For the Sun (arka), its `ceṣṭā-kendra` (motion center) is the tropical Sun (sāyana-arka) minus three signs. Similarly, for the Moon (vidhu), it is the Moon minus the Sun. If the `ceṣṭā-kendra` is less than six signs, it should be subtracted from the zodiac; if it is more than six signs, it should also be subtracted from the zodiac.
